Good morning! I've mechanically finished Mallory's Sailor Scout character sheet. So that's progress c:

Today was a pretty tiring day for me as well, I basically slept for 15 hours. It was storming as well, so I think that had something to do with it. I woke up at 3pm and still felt tired, so I went right back to sleep till 9pm. I haven't slept that long in a while, but my body needed it today.

Today is Monday. God so help us all, right? (Unfortunately, it's my Wednesday-- yay, only three more days to go, (only because today has yet to be done)!)
Today's goal, get my Misfit characters all Skilled out. I'm hoping that I'll have enough energy before I leave for work this morning to at least look at Lindsey's character. As fun as Cypher System looks to play, it's certainly giving me a headache figuring out! Maybe I'm being too ambitious with my first character for the system? But, I'm determined as hell, so I'll figure it out!
Anyway, despite today being a Monday, I feel a positive vibe in the air.

Cypher was definitely harder to make a character for. x3 Though the Sailor Moon RPG assumes you have your DM in the room with you to ask questions a few times. I wound up assuming a 12 stat spread and a 20 starting attribute spread for Mallory. Since htose seemed like the low end of the basic full powered senshi builds.

I didn't actually compute the Point Pool yet. I'm working on it, just using the example characters as a guide.

Fair! I figured by aiming lowish I would both leave room for growth and also that it would be easier to add more to my build than to remove things.

Well. Finally, a day of rest. I'm purposely not planning to accomplish much today. Just some light reading of GURPS. I'm really liking the Thaumatology supplement (extensive magic systems and creation of)! Someday, I'll get back to buying the Space, Starships, and couple of other supplements for futuristic settings. Then comes the long tedious part, figuring out what pieces I need and cobble together my own campaign and system rules.
I'm hoping to get Sailor Mars fully converted to BESM 2 RETRO by Saturday so that we have a template if others want to do the same. Speaking of, where'd everybody go anyway?
Anyway, I'm gonna go brainstorm a bit.

I'm currently watching Victoria play Mega Man Zero. They can be quieter than I am. x3 My goal today is just to do a lil RP and relax.

Good morning--- afternoon? already!
I finally dusted off the GCS and started entering Hikari Amaterasu's data. I got all her Skills entered in and I think I figured out her four primary Stats (The instant calculations really help with determining these numbers!) Now I gotta go through and pick some of her basic Abilities (Traits?) and figure out this whole Thaumatology thing. Apparently, there's an entire section in the book that talks about Flexible Powers, like granting the ability to cast loosely defined spells within specific Domains of Power-- because I really don't want to have to hard-wire her magical ability to spells that may never actually get used!
I've also got Sailor Mars (Rei Hino) partially defined in the BESM 2RETRO app, but I'm currently stuck with defining the Skill Ranged Attack. I'm waiting to hear back from the Publisher of the game to see if this was named something else, or totally just forgotten about...
I'm feeling a bit more energetic today (obviously, it's already after noon and I've accomplished all this. I'm also exploring Lindsey's character today as well. I'm thinking I'm just going to slap a simple character together just to get that game started, and I'll explore and experiment out of game with her design. I truly think that I'm really over-complicating this character design.
Then again, maybe I'm just not really a fan of Class-based games. I remember having a blast creating my first few Traveller Characters (Skills-based game), and the more I'm looking at GURPS, the more fond I'm becoming of the system. It's just that there's SO. MUCH. STUFF!

From what I can tell, attacks are assumed to be ranged by default. Being short range and melee range are both listed as attack disabilities instead (BESM2 Page 150), with short range being worth 1 point and melee range being worth 2 respectively.
As for me... Good mlorm! Trying to overcome my hyperfixations and finish characters and such c:

I wrote one freakin' sentence of dialogue over the past two days. One. I'm disappointed, to say the least. But I did learn a bit more about GURPS, so I guess it's not a total loss.

Hey y'all, what's going on?
All this severe weather we had all week had put me under a lot of stress and discomfort. I also feel sorry for those who were impacted by the tornadoes that hit their respective areas in the past couple of days. So, how's everyone doing?

I've lived in the Chicago area as a teenager, and I don't miss those tornadoes. I hope you're doing alright, @SuperNerdBro .
So today, is Sunday. The short day that's long, because I don't get a break while at work. I'm hoping that all the chaos from the excessively long customer lines is now behind us.
I actually was able to write like three or four lines of dialogue yesterday!
And later today, possibly, I'm going to help somebody I reached out to on Reddit to learn the Big Eyes Small Mouth system. We'll see how well my brain functions then.
