The Good Morning Thread

At least you get to see a dentist. I have a tooth that's rotting in real-time, and I don't have the funds to see a dentist. And I need to find a different Dentist than Gentle Dental, because it seems that they're only into Dentistry for the money. At least, that's the feeling I got while I was in there last year.
Unfortunately it does seem like some dentist and doctor offices only care about the money and not helping their patients. I hope you can get that tooth taken care of sooner than later, I had to use care credit to pay for my procedures I had done early this year. My appointment went much smoother and better than last time thankfully. Anyways I hope you all had a good weekend! I still get one more day off of work so it's still my weekend. :)

I got a new medication.Indomethacin ER 75 mg. From what I understand, it's like Ibuprofen, but on steroids. I've only been using it for two days now, and already I can feel a difference. Maybe in a couple of weeks, I'll be able to walk normal again... and then maybe.....

JUMPING??? 😱

Well, today is the beginning of a new week.
Truth be told, I've been battling some mild depression over the past few days. Yet, I'm expected to plaster a fake smile on my face and say "Thank you/Have a nice day", like, twenty million times today. ...

I'm having a bit of a problem maintaining the Status Quo right now.

Good evening everyone! Welp my wife and I have Covid. I started getting a sore throat on Thursday that lasted all day, so I stayed home from work the past couple of days. Unfortunately for me I only had enough sick time for one day so the other day will be covered via my only vacation day I had left. I got sick earlier this year and I wonder if I had Covid then too, I just didn't bother testing for it last time.

That COVID is a B-word. Tanya and I had it back in January, and as a result, I think that's part of what's totally zapping my energy levels-- what's causing all the inflammation in my body. But I can't prove it. There's no test for it (Long Covid). I miss the days when I could think functionally after working a full day. I can't anymore. I'm too exhausted. I'll start something and then three minutes into it, I'll totally loose my train of thought. So I end up just staring at the computer screen like a dunce. It totally sucks. Be careful with that Covid stuff, and be sure you're rested up before resuming anything resembling normal.

Unfortunately for me I still have Covid and I tried to return to work on Tuesday, only to be sent home and I stayed home the entire week so I hope I still have a job. x_X My wife is feeling better but I still have somewhat of a lingering cough (it comes and goes), my nose is stuffed and my ear is clogged. I'm sorry you have long covid @Senkusha. I've seen posts on Reddit about people saying they have it, and others saying they lost their sense of smell because of it. (I can still taste and smell things currently.) I have to go back to the office on Tuesday regardless if I'm still sick or not, though the head manager of the office told me not to return until I'm symptom free. :S If I don't feel better by this Thursday, I'm going to the doctor because then it would be two weeks since I first got sick.
