This is a very cute, and very enjoyable manga I read awhile back, it's written by Kiyohiko Azuma of Azumanga Daioh fame. The story is a cute, slice-of-life adventure following five-year-old, Yotsuba Koiwai as she learns about everyday objects and lessons. It's filled with the type of humor, and jokes often used in Azumanga. However unlike Azumanga it's been written on and off since 2003. So if you started reading the sixteen volumes now, you'll see how the writer's art style changed in real time over the years.
Sadly for those of you who are only interested in anime, it does not have an animated version, and it probably never will. However, it's an easy read that's well worth it, and iit's still being worked on to this day. It's a great read while kicking back and relaxing in bed, or when you just wanna turn off the old mind to enjoy something simple.
