What's for dinner?

I heated up a couple of hot dogs, I got store brand stadium dogs and they're really good! They're a bit bigger than the jumbo dogs you get and they have a blend of beef with a hint of pork, I typically get beef hot dogs but these are my new go to now.

Tonight, I'm going to attempt to make Butter Chicken in the Crock Pot.... 🤔

Basically, the recipe I use has Stages. First you need to saute the chicken in butter and oil, then add the ginger and garlic (and onion), then add more butter and the dried spices. Then add the tomato sauce. Finally add the cream (or yogurt). This process takes anywhere between 30 to 45 minutes. Today, I threw everything (whole chicken breast), spices, liquids, everything in to my Crock Pot and set it for 12 hours. (I did mix the liquids and dry spices. The butter... that will melt, eventually, I'm sure. 😅)

So, I'll let you know how it turns out tonight!

I had some leftover beef and noodles for dinner. My father in law made it yesterday and he always makes it in the crock pot. I have to pick around the mushrooms but other than that it's really good! My dad used to make this dish too but he would use canned beef and add egg noodles, where as my father in law uses beef stew meat.

I'll take your mushrooms!

Apparently, mushrooms provide up to 50% of your daily Vitamin D requirements, and my level is critically deficient (sitting at 13 ng/mL-- the normal is between 30 and 100 ng/mL). Needless to say that my partner bought four tubs of fresh mushrooms the other day, so now I have to learn how to cook them and what to cook them with!

If I could send you all the mushrooms from the dishes he makes I would lol. I had Shin Black ramen and I took out all the freeze dried mushrooms from it. This is my favorite store bought ramen, the broth is super creamy and delicious!
