Sweet or savory spaghetti sauce?

Which one do you prefer? I had some spaghetti I got from my local grocery store and I can tell their sauce was more sweet than savory. Some people add sugar to their spaghetti sauce too, I prefer to have a more savory sauce than sweet. I ate most of it but couldn't finish it since it was mid. :\ My sister adds a little bit of sugar to her sauce.

I prefer my spaghetti sauce to be a bit on the spicy side. I've heard that you should only add a pinch of sugar to the sauce if you accidentally burn it. My partner's mother's, ex-neighbor learned about adding sugar to sauce, and went crazy by thinking that sugar needed to be added to EVERYTHING! Anyway, I prefer my foods to be more savory. I feel that there's too much sugar in most American foods.

Yikes sugar definitely doesn't need to be added to everything lol. Spicy sounds good I'll have to give that a go someday but my wife hates spicy foods. So I would have to make a batch for myself. (Whenever I get around to actually teaching myself how to cook. x_X)

Cooking is actually pretty easy. Throw a little of this and a little of that into a pot, turn on some heat. Stir so that it doesn't burn. Serve.

Baking on the other hand, you need an entire freakin' chemistry lab so you can measure specific ingredients precisely!
