Hello, and good day to whomever might be reading this! I'm Pizza Box, most just call me Pizza though. It's an online handle of mine that goes pretty far back at this point. I've had others before, but this is the one that stuck the hardest, and the one most people know me by. Like many others here, from what I gleaned by looking around a little bit. I got into anime from mostly Toonami, a bit of a Adult Swim, and hell. Even a pinch of the hellscape that was 4kidz. What I mainly saw from...(they who will not be named again.) Was mainly Tokyo Mew Mew, when I for some reason bothered to watch that channel during my wee-years.

As a Roleplayer though? Well really I couldn't tell you WHEN I started. I roleplayed in many different places, forums like this, modern places in Discord servers, full on MMOs, smaller games online games. RP aside, I guess I should tell a bit more about myself. I don't really care too much about my own pronouns, people can simply call me as whatever they perceive me as. They/Them? He/Him? She/Her? They all work, so just call me whatever you feel fits the best through our interactions. As for how I found this site?

It was a few hours ago before I signed up, I was mucking about on RPG Directory, looking for new places to RP, and there it was. A post about this site. It's as simple as that. Other then RP some of my hobbies are, Visual Novels, TCGs (Trading Card Games.) (Not just one either, I like many.), Anime. With one of the more recent Anime OVAs I've watched being the Air one from years ago. Other hobbies in include, coding/game making (Don't expect anything on this front. I've started days ago as of signing up to this site and I am terrible right now.),


However, my favorite non-vn video (even if it is almost basically one.) Is a child rearing sim, one called Princess Maker 5, I imagine someone here as probably heard the name at least once more twice! While most of the titles took place in a fantasy setting. 5 took it modern, or at least 2007s Japan modern, so...not so modern anymore! Now...as for my favorite magical girl character? It's bland! It's common, it's the cheese pizza-(box)(Sorry I had to.) Of the magical girl world. Usagi Tsukino, or Sailor Moon.

I simply adore her as a main character, she's a great lead. Other than RP I do (attempt) to write fan-fiction, I have a couple things going down the pipeline, one being a magical girl story, another being a Yu-Gi-Oh! fanfic, taking place within a world of my own making, with no canon characters. The Yu-Gi-Oh! One could be considered my main fanfic project. It's something I have a lot of ideas and lore for, it's something I feel like I need to finish as a story. It's main title? Yu-Gi-Oh VERE. Maybe someone here can guess why I picked that title, but I won't give any hints c:.

Anyway, this has dragged on long enough, I could say more beyond surface level details, but I won't so this doesn't drag on too much longer. I love RPGS! Be them JRPGS, TTRPGS, I suppose in terms of my RP-Style I write more in third-person, but I have done some first. I've even had some one shots where the PPV shifts from third to first a few times. I love to write a great focus. Having a good story? That's awesome, but even the best written stories struggle without great characters. That's why I love a good character focus, having strong growth even if it takes sometime.

Other things to know I suppose is, somehow over the years I've built up a pretty solid skill with GIMP via image manipulation. Now like I said above, I could go on, and part of me feels I should. However. This is way too long already, thank you for reading, ta-ta have a great day. c:​

I'm so glad that you stumbled upon our tiny corner of the Web. I promise, that we won't eat you-- I like Usagi as well. Although, I wouldn't consider Sailor Moon to be ... ahem, cheesy. She revolutionized the entire Magical Girl world! That sounds pretty supreme to me! (yeah, I had to... )

Have you had any experiences with TTRPG systems, what games have you played? Being that you enjoy JRPG and TTRPG, have you tried Fabula Ultima?

What game engine are you developing with?

I hope that Prismatica will offer a wide range of options to stimulate the many areas of creativity that you possess!

I suppose you could really say...her character was hand-tossed with care? (I can pay back the bad jokes in full!)

As for Fabula Ultima, the name does ring a few bells, but I haven't tried it. Most of my experiences with TTRPGs have either been with DnD, or with DnD-adjacent systems. Few video games, that used DnD like systems too, changed up to fit slightly better. I do like them, but I don't have as much of a chance to dig in as I'd like. My schedule often runs counter to those I could play with.

As for the game engine, I've been dabbling in RPG Maker XP. Well I DID play around with Renpy a long while ago, but I never had any real plans for Renpy. RPG Maker XP, I do have some plans with it, but we'll see if I can actually get stuff actually moving.

Regardless, I'm sure Prismatica will be an enjoyable place to stick around, What about yourself though?

While I haven't had an opportunity to actually play with Fabula Ultima, it uses Step Dice, I believe, and character creation is more about mixing and matching different classes together. It looks really interesting, and I've read that game play is just as if you were in a JRPG on the screen.

But having a crazy schedule doesn't help with gaming activities. I have a couple of weekdays off instead of weekends, and by the time I get home, all I've got time to do is fix dinner, eat, and go to sleep. It sucks. Which is why I prefer to game on forums, because there's no set scheduling.

A few years ago, I messed around with Unreal Engine. It's a blast to write code Visually, but unfortunately, I lack the time to really get into it. I found that I would have to constantly re-learn things I'd learned in previous weeks, because I don't have the time to do, do, do, so that the processes become rote memorized.... Yeah, I'm old So, I put down Game Development for a bit and focused on other hobbies that I can do that don't require my butt being in my computer chair at home.

Welcome Pizza! Yu-Gi-Oh is the only TCG I got into the most, I have a collection of Pokemon and Digimon cards but I never really played those games. I stopped playing Yu-Gi-Oh not longer after the Link monster mechanic was added. (I miss the old school days when the only special cards we had were fusions, effect, and ritual monsters haha.) I got into anime from 4Kids too with the Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon dubs.

That makes sense!

I still played during the Link era, but in mostly casual groups with friends, and what not. WHEW let me tell you; in someways the start of the Link era, and now. Well it might as well be a different ball game all together. Some actually insane powercreep. That aside, Links aren't actually a hard requirement like they were when they first came out. You can run decks without them again. So if you ever considered getting back into it. It's actually a pretty decent time.
