I was thinking earlier today, you know, I really like playing Shadow Run. But I really hate the Dice Pool mechanic. It'd be really nice if I could just select the skill/combat that I want to use and push a button and have virtual dice rolled and tabulated for me. Here on Prismatica, the Dice Roller does have a custom rule set for Shadow Run, (but it's turned off at the moment because of a major bug with the extension). I could theoretically learn Java enough to build a custom Phone app that would all me to input all the Attributes, Skills, and Qualities into a database and then the software could calculate the result.

I then thought about this more. I could enter in all the character sheets and choose opponents then too. Essentially, I've kinda made Shadow Run into a Solo RPG at this point. All you'd need is your phone to play.

I know that a project like this is a massive undertaking. Especially since I also want to make the shell/interface expandable to accept multiple role playing game systems. There's a LOT of data entry involved. Boring, tedious data entry is not fun at all, and Shadow Run 4e has like six to eight books to input? And then there's the problem with Copyright infringement. *sigh*. A girl can dream I guess.

Their is a way if you have bbcodes on mybb and some other forum softwares, you can insert a code and it would randomly generate a number or some other inputs. I do not really know how it works but when their a will, their a way.

Learning Java is so complex from someone who does not know the basics it would take you at least two years of dedication to learning Java and that’s not all you need to know there library’s has well.
