MAGIUS (Multiple Assignable Game Interface for Universal System) is a Japanese rpg, originally titled "generic Fujimi roleplaying system" back in 1995, that is stylized for anime and manga, and is considered to be the GURPS lite alternative to games like GURPS (at least in the East). This game system uses a 2d6 mechanic, and unlike GURPS, the supplements are not cross compatible with each other.
There have been a number of supplement books written for MAGIUS, some websites suggest at least 30 books have been officially released, with the original publisher hosting contests for the creation of home-brew supplements.

Unfortunately, this game system isn't available on DriveThruRPG, so I'll keep looking, although, I have located the Neon Genesys Evangelion (English translation) book. If I can determine this is not for sale (it's a freebie), then I'll go ahead and supply a download for it.
