I'm sure all of us are familiar with the Cat-girl, you know, half feline, half humanoid, usually super cute, always female for some reason, fluffy ears, a wiggly tail, and usually lacks fur? The Cat-girl is probably the most widely used hybrid species in all of anime. But there are other species beyond our curious and playful girls.
Inuyasha is a hybrid dog and human, specifically demon and dog, in fact, his name Inu-Yasha mean Dog-Demon.
There's also the Kitsune, but that's not truly a hybrid, although the Kitsune is based in mythology that closely resembles this-- a fox spirit that can take on the form of a woman.
I know there must be other hybrids out there. After all, the Big Eyes Small Mouth (4e) game lists several races as character options, however, I'm not really familiar with any of them.
