When an experiment goes wrong, various Anime characters (of your choosing) end up being sucked into "the Void". A place of everything and nothing. Upon visiting this nexus, your character is dumped into a random anime setting from another show (your choosing). Will everybody make it back to their own realities in time?
So the way this game would work is the game creator picks an anime or manga setting to start with. Anytime somebody rolls a one (1), I think it's be neat to invoke The Void, and the setting randomly changes to another fandom (I should also mention that regular TV and movies are also on the table as well--any fictional inspiration). A list should be generated ahead of game play and whomever rolled the one (1) rolls another die to determine which new realm we enter. I feel that this would be the only fair option, and this list would be built by everybody playing the game. This would ensure that everybody knows at least something about each fandom. There could also be an option to temporarily promote the member who suggested the fandom to be an Assistant Game Master to ensure the plot doesn't blow up too badly.
The list of pre-generated fandoms would be an ongoing list of additions that anybody playing could add to. And it would be discussed if a fandom once visited could be revisited again, or removed from the list (archived).
